さて、今日も昨日の続きから。本日も写真増量です。
国際通りを越え上野を目指す。これがどうも住宅街が続く。いささか疲れも手伝って撮影ペースがダウンするし、テンションも下がる。
ほどなくして銀座線の車庫着き、ちょっとだけテンションが戻る。
上野にあるのが意外だが、これは新発見。電車の出入り見たかったがそういう気配もないので先へ進む。
するとちょっとだけ面白そうな建物あったので撮ってみる。
またなんかノスタルジックなの撮っちゃたな・・・、となんだかやるせない。ただ、こういう写真って帰宅後PCモニタで確認するまで分からない。デジカメだからその場で確認することもできるが、小さな画面で見るのとPCのモニタで見るのとは違う。なのでこういう「乗り気じゃなかった写真」というのもPCで見たり、ちょっと補正するだけで撮ったときのイメージとは違う場合も多々ある。やはり気になったらとりあえず「撮る」ことにしている。
その後も淡々と歩く。撮る時間が空くと撮りたい衝動に駆られる。とりあえず何でも良いから撮っておく。この時の時間7:16。192枚目。一分当たり2.34枚なので先ほどよりもペースダウン。
昭和通りにさしかかる頃には少しテンションが盛り上がってきたのが分かる。
なんかこういう精力剤とかダイエット食品を売っているあたりが上野だよな。店頭売りというよりも雑誌なんかの通販がメインなんだろうな。いつも胡散臭いと思っているのだが買っている人がいるんだろう。こういう商売上手な人って世の中にたくさんいるんだろうな。
あと、こういう建造物って誰が設計しているんだろう。日本人のやることなので合理性というか機能性重視なんだろな。ドイツやら北欧みたいにデザイン重視で機能性後回しみたいなことはしないだろうし。日本にある建造物というのは何かしら必然性があるから存在している。ただ、気になるのは最近の商業建築ってイマイチ中途半端というか、日本人の感覚が薄まっているようにも見える。
それでやっとアメ横到着。休憩したいし小腹も減った。目的の店へ急ぐ。
急いでいるが撮影スタンスに変更はなく、気になれば撮る。いささか疲労度が増しているので俊敏さが鈍ってきているが貪欲に撮る。
なんかアダルトショップって上野っぽさがある。そりゃどこにでもあるけど上野にあるアダルトショップってのは格が違うような気がするな。
さて、目的の店はもう少し。でも、撮る。
上野に来たら必ずここに寄る。朝7時からやっている。時刻は7:31だがすでにそこそこ客が入っている。いつ来ても不思議な場所だ。
とりあえず瓶ビールを頼みながら店のメニューに目をやる。でも、空腹感は疲労にかき消され、朝ということもあって串物じゃない気分。それにしても座りたいのに立ち飲み屋に入ってしまったな・・・。
ここの瓶ビールは大瓶で390円と私の知る限り最安。生ビールもあるがほとんどの客が瓶ビールだ。このビアタンという小さなグラスで飲む瓶ビールが好きだ。生ビールというのは注ぐ人間のセンスに依存する部分が大きいので最近では瓶ビールのある店では瓶ビール。
それでつまみは「げそわさ」（150円）にした。ボイルしたイカの足が冷やしてある。たっぷりめに醤油をかけ、付け合わせのワサビを全力で溶かしてワサビ醤油にして浸しながらいただく。
さすがに朝のビールは効く。起きたのが早かったので眠気も出てきた。この次どうするか思案しながらまたビールをちびり。
朝なので店員さんたちは仕込みの最中だ。そうは言っても客の出入りもある。ご常連が多く「またあとで来るよ！」と言って去っていく。周囲の客の半分は競馬新聞読みながら呑んでいる。テレビじゃ「おはようございます！」と言って女性レポーターが元気に天気予報をしている。不思議な時間と空間。
それでここまでの撮影枚数226枚。まだなんか物足りない。せっかくなので神田まで歩くことに決めた。
アメ横から御徒町に向けて歩く。人影は少ない。日中のアメ横に賑わいはまだ陰を潜めている。それにしても日が昇って完全に「朝」だ。ジーパンの中が汗で濡れて歩きづらい。
結局のところ写真の技術って機械の扱いではなく、被写体の探し方、アングルの決め方なんだよな。アナログよりもデジタルの方が簡単だ、みたいな話をよく聞くのだが実はそういう意見には否定的。確かに簡単というか「入り口のハードル」が下がっただけでアナログ時代よりも表現の幅が広がったし、写真家の作業領域も格段に増えている。
写真家に限らずだが、これからは職人とかアーティストではなく、プロデューサー目線で組み立てる時代。表現内容よりも表現からコンセプト、告知、見せ方など関連する作業は一貫して考えられないとダメだ。「俺の作品は凄いだろ！」みたいなエゴだけじゃ通用しない。それに写真なんて他の創作活動に比べたら高尚なものでもない。

山手線の高架下沿いに歩く。いわゆる「ガード下」というやつだ。正直なところガード下というところではさほど呑みたいとは思わない。特に山手線沿線のガード下という場所は「ガード下」というブランドで雰囲気はあるがどうも店側も客も高慢な臭いが漂う。
秋葉原に近づくとホームレスの人たちがいる。このまぶしい日差しの中で見るホームレスというのは違和感がある。ただ、そうは言っても将来自分が逆の立場になるかも知れないという恐怖に似た感情も沸いてくる。まぁ、そうなるときはこの世にいないつもりだ。別にプライドとかじゃない。寒いのイヤだし、暑いのもイヤだし、別にそこまでして生きる理由が私には分からない。
そういえば最近「○○○円均一」の店が増えたと思う。個人的には「え？いまさら？」みたいな気分だ。さっきの立ち飲み屋なんて昔からそれ以下の値段だ。今さら安さをウリにする店に価値を感じない。企業努力とか合理化とか言われてもぜんぜん私には響かない。継続性のある商売って値段だけじゃないと思うよ。企業努力ってそういう値段以外の付加価値だろうな。なかなかこういうのって顧客に理解されないのだが。
などとよもやまなことを考えながら歩き続ける。秋葉原の雰囲気が見えてくる。さすがに上野から神田は遠いかなぁ、と反省モード。だってさ、押上から歩きっぱなしだぜ。
ただ、撮る手は止めない。貪欲にシャッターを押し続ける。これはもうね、セックスと同じ。
要するに「撮る」と「やる」は同じ。だってさセックスするのに理由ってある？セックスするためにさ、好きだの、愛だの、大事に思ってる、とか表面的に正当化しようとするから後々面倒なわけじゃない？男女の差はない。
写真も一緒でやれテーマだの、コンセプトだの、表現手法だのノーガキこくから面倒なんだよ。撮りたいなら撮ればいいんだよ。カメラの操作とかどうでもいいからさ。誰も答えなんて持ってないんだし。
それにセックスだって誰かに教わった？本読んだりしてこっそり勉強したりするかも知れんが写真も同じ。別に善し悪しなんて見る奴の好みなんだしさ、見せたい相手がいるならその相手に合わせればいいだけでしょ。ほら、相手に合わせる、セックスも同じだ。
さて、歩を進める。
徐々に秋葉原に近づいて来た。近年の秋葉原の再開発ぶりってイヤらしいと思う。何もそこまでリニューアルしなくてもいいじゃん、みたいな。あの頃を知っている人間の思い出みたいなもの全否定するくらい変えている。確かに非効率な街の構造だった気もするが、結局アニメとオフィスビルの街になってしまった。
そういえばこのビルはまだ健在だな。昔、このビルに取引先の倉庫があった。15年近く前の話だ。ITバブル全盛で、世の中ウィンドウズブームだったな。
中央通り沿いのこのガラス張りのビル。以前は日通の本社だった。確実に時代は変わっている。あの当時あった電気屋やパソコン専門店は見る影もない。昔はアキバに行けば三千円くらいで面白いものがいくつも買えた。露天ではファミコンのカセット（当然違法コピー）も売っていた。この違法コピーのカセットは一本に72本のゲームが入っているというキワモノだった。
などと黄昏れている場合ではない。急ぐ。
万世橋の交差点から撮った。ここは秋葉原の中ではフォトジェニックな場所の一つ。
このとき時刻8:26。もう完全に撮る気力無し。とりあえず歩く。
肉の万世の横を通る。そういえば昔万世の最上階で肉食うのを夢見てたな。未だ実現していないが。
このとき282枚。急速にペースダウンしているのが分かる。
さて、一気に神田に着いた。
正直ここまで歩くと疲労困憊している。途中でも最後のあがきで撮っていたが、やはり開始時点の元気はない。
毎回そうなんだが撮っていると肉体的な疲労もあるのだが、それ以上に精神的な疲労が大きい。常に緊張感を保ち、とっさの判断で撮る瞬発力。この「瞬発力」というのは物理的、すなわち肉体的な能力が必要となる。終わった頃にはヘロヘロになる。

さて、この日の成果だが、撮影枚数302枚。最後の一枚が8:45であった。約三時間の撮影であった。今回いろいろと「HOSONISMの裏側」が見えたと思う。
