さて、昨日の続き。
吾妻橋を渡ると浅草の雷門まではさほど遠くない。途中、ウンコビルを横目にしながら歩く。このころすでに6:30。
これくらいの時間になると土曜日ということもあって通勤する人などがちらほら現れる。
ただ、不思議なのは大きなガラガラ付いた鞄を引いて歩く女の子の姿もちらほら。どういう職業かは不明。東武電車の駅から出てきているのでどっかに行っていたのか、これから行くのか。
昔から「家出と言えば上野」というイメージなんだが、家出するのは東北の人間に限らないんじゃねーの？などと愚にも付かないようなことが脳裏をかすめる。
それにしてもこの辺は相変わらずな感じ。たぶん、東武の駅というか松屋デパートがあるからそう感じるだけで、周囲のテナントはずいぶんと今風の店が増えている。
神谷バーの横を通り雷門へ。そういえば神谷バーというのは日本で最初のバーだという説もあるが知らん。都内で時折見かける「電気ブラン」発祥の店であることは確かなようだ。
ただ、正面の入り口といい、そこそこ宣伝している店なので私はさほど惹かれない店である。
さらに歩を進める。
この頃6:34。ちょっと腹が減ってくる。でも、浅草という場所は老舗のそば屋だの天麩羅屋はあるが、リーズナブルに朝からやっている店はない。やはりここは観光地なんだろう。ひとまず上野まで我慢することにし、先を急ぐ。
歩いていると朝まで飲み明かしたとおぼしき若者の集団と遭遇。まー、若いってことはいいやね。私はとっくに卒業したが。
雷門到着。ここで6:35分。押上を出発してから40分ほどで到着。ここまでで115枚撮っている。一分あたり2.8枚のペース。徐々に調子が出てきたか？
それで今回「浅草」という観光地を撮りに来た理由は単純で「撮ったことが無いから」である。実際のところ特別な思い入れはない。思い入れはないのだが「一度は行っておく必要」はあると常々思っていた。ただ、昔の記憶だとこの界隈は21時を過ぎると人気（ひとけ）がないので夜のタイミングを狙うのも悪くないのかも。
意外だったのがさほど人気（ひとけ）が無いこと。歩いているのは地元の人が犬つれて散歩してたり、ジョギングしている人。多少は観光客らしき外人を見かけるも概ね地元の人たち。
ちょっと横にそれるとお店もあるが住宅街なんだよね。
当然店なんてやってないのだが、なぜか準備している店が一軒。
仲見世ってよくよく考えると同業種の店舗がほとんどなんだよな。しかもこのエリアは観光地としての統率が取れている。ある意味みんな同じような物を売っているので仕入れも同じなんだろう。差別化ってどうしているんだろう。それにしても本堂までってこんなに長かったかなぁ。
日中なら賑わっているのだろうがさすがにこの時間帯は人がまばら。そういや以前、昼間から浅草の飲み屋で呑んだことがあった。「下町は安い」と思っていたが全然安くない、いやむしろ高いかもな。どうも観光地の飲み屋や飯屋というのは好きになれない。
それでひとまずスカイツリーが見えたら撮った。やはりスカイツリーは東京の新しいランドマークなんだと感じる。浅草からもこの存在感だもの。ただ、完成前から近隣の人たちが浮き足だっているのは鼻につく。もっと自然体で、そして街のカラーを大切にしたほうが長期的には良いと思うけど。
それでやっと本堂到着。
やれやれ。軽く周囲を見回し適当に撮る。このとき6:47。
そろそろ疲れてくる。座りたいのだが休憩している余裕はない。
そして本堂内部も一応見学。
おおむねご老人が多い。境内でたたずんでいる人もいれば体操している人もいる。有名な観光地だが地元の人にとっては憩いの場なんだろう。広すぎず狭すぎず。自宅近所の砧公園なんて広すぎて気軽に行けない。近所にこういう寺があるのはいいのかも。
本堂をあとにし、花やしき方面を目指す。
「浅草観音温泉」と書かれている。朝6:30から営業しているようだ。爺ちゃん、婆ちゃんが入っていく。いいね、こういう銭湯は。私も一っ風呂浴びたかったよ。
この時6:48。スタートから一時間近くが経過しようとしている。
さすがにそろそろ休憩したくなるがまずは上野まで行こうと決意する。さすがに疲れてきて集中力も低下・・・。
