最近、写真の露出を増やしている。営業的な意味もあるのだが実際のところ「どういう写真がウケるか？」というリサーチも兼ねている。
主にfacebookとFrikrでたまにPicasaを使っている。それで使うサービスによって観る人の視点が違うのが実に興味深い。
それでいささか残念なのだがちょいちょい；
「どこのカメラですか？」
と聞かれる。確かにカメラの性能を否定はしないが私の撮影技術に対する評価じゃないんだよなー（遠い目）。撮影技術に関してはプロもアマチュアも境界線が無くなっていることはよく分かっているのだが、カメラの機種を聞かれるというのは未熟な証拠。
ちなみに私が使っているのはリコーの「GR digital」なのでハイアマチュア、プロ仕様のカメラである。レンズ性能こそ一目置いているが、一眼デジカメと比べれば画質は低いし（画が平坦）、レスポンスも遅い。そこいらのコンパクトデジカメとそんなに変わらないと思う（そもそも2009年モデルなので古い）。要は何を撮るか、どう撮るか、機能として何を優先するか、でしかない。
私の場合は道具として使いやすいので使っている。レンズもF値が1.9と明るいレンズなので手ブレもしづらい。ただ、同等のレンズ性能のコンデジはあるし、GRには「手ぶれ補正機能」なんて無い。夜景モードだのポートレートモードなんていう機能はもちろん、最近流行の「美白機能」なんて付いている訳もない。
なお、単焦点レンズなのでズーム機能もない。
さて、こうした制約のあるカメラではあるが、恐らく買ってからその機能の少なさに比して設定項目がやたらと多くて戸惑うと思う。今時のデジタルガジェットはどれにも共通しているのだがGRも例外ではない。それに設定項目がいささかマニアック。当然使わない機能も多い。
ちなみに全ての機能を使い切らないと損した気になるのが人の常ではあるが気にしないで良い。少なからず私は気にしていない。極論を言えばフルオートで十分。
なので手元にGRが届いたらやることは；
●バッテリーを入れる。
●設定を「オート」にする。
●あとは撮るべし、撮るべし、撮るべし
この3つ。まずは1,000枚くらいを目標に撮る。ひたすら撮る。無我夢中で撮る。
そうすると徐々に設定項目に対する疑問が生まれてくるのでそのときマニュアルを読めばいい。設定項目が多岐に渡りすぎるし、マニュアルも分厚いので都度調べた方が効率が良い。
そして、買うときは私のサイトの右上にあるバナーから買うように。
するとちょっぴり私が得をするから。たまには私に還元しなさい。
