元旦から用賀のS氏宅で呑み、一日空けて3日はMikihisa氏に誘われるがまま上野で呑む。サーバーサイドエンジニアで今年から国内MBAに入学予定のS氏と久しぶりの再会かねて。
しかも集合時間13時。真っ昼間である。
ちなみに行くのはいつもの立ち飲み屋。
薄々予想はしていたが到着したらすでに「満立ち」である。
狭くはないであろう箱の店には人だらけ。
自分のことは棚に上げることにして一体この店にいる客はなんだろうか？と思う。
世の中不思議な空間があるものだ。たぶん、世間の9割以上の人はこんな世界があることは知らないのだろう。知っていれば良いというものだと思っておらず、誰しも「知らなくて良い世界」はあるもんだし、知らなくても生きていける。むしろ情報が多すぎて混乱することの方が多い。
ただ、毎回ここに来る度に「マーケットはどこにあるか？」と真剣に考えてしまう。
世の中どこにマーケットがあって何が売れるかなんて分からない。
以前、某ニュースで読んだのだが月に1,000人の会員数のメルマガがある。一方、ホリエモンのメルマガは1万人越えたと言って騒いでいた。
でも、違うのは月会費で、前者が月額5万円、後者が月額840円である。商材としてのボリュームなら前者の方がデカイ（年商6億円だもの）。会員が1万人いても後者は年商1億だ。
商売上手と言えばそれまでだが、規模を追わなくとも付加価値で単価を上げることは可能だし、どこにそういうニーズがあるなんて分からない。
「オレオレ詐欺」だって年間の被害額は25億円といわれている。世の中には25億円も市場規模の無いビジネスはわんさかある。
話がそれた。
ここに行くといつもこうしたことを考えてしまう。しかもこうした昼間からやっている店は意外と各地にあったりするから謎は深まる。個人的には地域人口に対してある一定の割合で存在しているんじゃないだろうかと思う。
不思議だ。
まぁ、なかなか行く機会は無いだろうが行くと気付きはあるし、もしかしたら何かヒントがあるかも知れない。
こう思うと今年もついつい上野に出向いてしまうんだろうな。
