（昨日の続き）
ひとまず雑貨系のフロアを後にした。
ただ、いかんせんChilly'sで食い過ぎたのが災いして、思考能力ゼロ。
本当は食べる気満々でいた「シナボン（↑の写真）」も、食べたいのだが体が受け付けないほどに満腹感があり、ほのかに香っているシナモンの臭いだけで我慢した。
シナボン食いたかったなぁ・・・・。
そして階下の生鮮食料品売り場へ移動。
移動するとここでは入るのにIDチェックがある。ビジターセンターで受け取った書類とパスポートを見せて中に入る。
中に入るとSUSHIコーナーなんかがあるが、売っているお寿司は当然カリフォルニアロール。
カリフォルニアロールを横目にしながらまずは野菜コーナー。
野菜やら果物を物色。
恐らく独身男子の割に世間の物価相場には相当シビアな私ですが、やはり農産物系はここでも高かった。
やはり今年の異常気象は世界的な出来事だったのかもねぇ。
それで売っている野菜はゴーヤとか、シメジなどの日本の野菜も売っている。キュウリもアメリカのキュウリと日本のキュウリも売っている。
でもやっぱ高いよなー。と思った。基本的に売られている野菜は個数と計り売りの2パターン。「LB」と書かれているのが重さ、「EA」と書かれているのが個数ということ。
それでLennyに；
私：「『EA』ってなんだ？」
L：「『イーチ』だよ。」
私：「ああん？『イーチ』？そりゃ知ってるよ！」
L：「E・A・C・H、だろ？」
私：「ああ・・・」
ということで納得？というか英語圏の略語って意外と分からないことが多い。実際、「LB」は何の略か未だに分からない（※こういうのをちゃんと聞かないからダメなんだろうな、しかもネットで調べようともしない。そりゃ向上しないよ私の英語力）。
そして肉コーナーへ移動。
肉は日本よりかなり安い、しかも驚くほどに！
ハムなんて日本で買うより1/3くらいじゃなかろうか。
見ているとかなり欲しくなる、いや欲しい、買って帰りたい衝動に駆られる！
頭の中は「家で飲むときのツマミレシピ」がグルグル回っていた。
「ああ、このハムで・・・」、「うお！この牛肉安い！」、「ポークは牛より安い！！」
などなど。ただ、いかんせん「お一人様」には向かない量だったな・・・。基本的に「g＝グラム」という概念ではなく「Kg＝キログラム」だと思った方が良い。お一人様用なら「肉のハナマサ」でも事足りてしまうな・・・。
そして冷凍肉コーナーには驚愕の；
冷凍ターキー並びまくり・・・。見た感じ「エイリアンのタマゴ」にしか見えないサイズ。
たぶん写真ではわかんないと思うけど、手前の「白い物体」は10Kg以上ありました・・・。冷凍なので解凍するのにどんだけ時間かかるんだ？みたいな。
でも、大きさは大・中・小と一応あったにはあった。でも、売り場面積的には「一番デカイ奴」が量が多かった。クリスマス翌日だったのでその「残り」かも知れないが、むしろこのサイズを実際に料理しているのが見たかったよ。
そしてお次は「インスタントラーメン」コーナー！
海外のスーパーで必ず行くコーナーである。私の物価水準バロメーター。
するとだいたいが「20セント」前後なのです。日本円で20円くらい。実はバリ島で行ったスーパー見かけたインスタントラーメンと同じサイズです。サイズは日本製の1/2か2/3くらい。
アメリカ人が食べるには少なすぎる、インドネシア人でも少ないと思う。
これって「ちびろく」の進化系？ってことかも？
今回の旅行（？）での一番の発見はこの「袋入りインスタント麺の値段とサイズ」である。
それでLennyに聞くと；
L；「ああ、学生時代は金が無かったからよく食ってたよ。」
ということで、「貧乏食である」という事実は万国共通ってことで納得。
そしてフラフラしていて見つけたのが！
これには衝撃だよ。ジャックダニエルのBBQソースだよ！
ボトルの形も一緒だよ！！！
って一人で騒いでいたらご一緒したAkiさん、Kさん；
A&K：「ああ、そうそう、ジャックダニエルって普通に売ってるよ、BBQソース♪」
って・・・。もー！
なんかアメリカではフツーらしいよ、ジャックダニエルのBBQソース。
それで購買意欲が高まったのだがすでに「電車で帰るにはちょっと重たいお土産＝酒」買った後だったので断念した。
買いたかったなぁ～、ジャックのBBQソース・・・。
そしてスーパーでの買い物の後、ちょっとビールでも飲もうかということになり、基地内にあるバーへ。
ただ、このバーの場所が分からず基地内を彷徨う四人（※米人一名）。
それで辿り着いたバーがまたアメリカーンな感じ；
入り口はフツーのドアなんだが開けるとそこは「Bar」な感じ。ちなみに奥に見えるスロットマシーンは日本のゲーセンにある機械ととは違い「リアルマネー」で遊ぶモノです・・・。
まぁ、プチカジノ、
ってことです。
私はこう見えて（見えてないけど）賭け事しないのですが、Lennyは10ドル握りしめてトライしてました（-2ドルだったようです）。
なにはともあれ四人とも疲れ果て、やっと座り、乾いた喉をビールで潤しました。
ここはジョッキ（要はグラス）でエビスビールが飲め、それ以外はボトルです。
ついついエビス飲みましたがここは「アメリカ」なので日本のビールは高いのです。アメリカンビールの倍近い値段（4.5ドルなので普通の居酒屋レベル）ですがアメリカンビールは2.5ドルほど。
ここで気付くがやはり日本のビールは「味が濃い」ということ（※アメリカ比）。
少なからずアメリカのビールは薄味でサクサク飲むスタイル。
そこそこ飲んだあとはLennyとビリヤード対決！
なんか俺って「ハスラー」？みたいな気分になりつつも、三戦二敗したのでここは割愛。
だって、ナインボールが良いと言っていたのにLennyがエイトボールが良いとか言い出して、まぁ、私の方が年上なので仕方なく甘受したのです。
ちなみにこのビリヤードはゲームの種類にかかわらず1ゲーム75セント。
時間貸しの日本とは違いよく出来ている。
そして我々はほどなくして？いや、実際には；
L：「バーのカウンターの女の子の電話番号聞け！」
とか、
Akiさん、Kさんとユルーイ話を日本語でしてLennyがキョトンとしていたり、いろんなことがありました。
帰りはバーからいささか離れた正門まで歩いていき、そこからはタクシーで駅へ。
一時間半ほどかけて無事帰宅。

いかがでしたでしょうか「電車で行けるアメリカ」ツアー。
なかなか普通の人が行く機会は無いようだが、毎年8月に一般公開するようなので都内の人はわざわざ行くのも良いかも知れない。いろいろと細かなルールがあるのですが、異国気分を味わうなら丁度良いかと。
次回はもっと早く行って映画館とかボーリング場に行くのも悪くないね。
ただ、一つ反省点は明らかに食い過ぎたことだな。
