世田谷郵便局そばの某スーパーに隣接している焼鳥屋。
なんというか一応「店舗」なのだ。見た感じ屋台だがそうではない。門構えはなく、ドアを開ける必要もないので入るのは「楽」だ（物理的に）。 ただ、心理的には入りづらい店だと思う。
ちなみに店の奥行きなんて2mほどしかなく、前述した長椅子も５人も座れば満席だ。よくスーパーの店先にある「お持ち帰りの焼鳥屋」の前に椅子を出しただけのような作りだ。
また「焼鳥」を看板に出してはいるが一番のウリは広島風のお好み焼きだったりする。
この時は二度目の訪問だったのだが店の主（女将さん）は私のことを覚えていてくれた。
高くは無いが特別安い訳でもなく、スゲー旨いかと言われればそうでも無い。ウリの広島風のお好み焼きを食べたこともなく、いまだその味は分からない。
だけども店の外観とは反比例するかのように女将さんの気遣いというか拘りというか、真面目な仕事ぶりが伝わってくる。コツコツ頑張っているというのか、一生懸命というか。狭いながらにいろんな知恵や工夫も散見される。
感じ方に個人差はあるだろうがその人なりに精一杯できることをやっている、というのが伝わってくる。座席はただの「板」なので店に入ると女将さんが申し訳なさそうに「どうぞお使い下さい。」と言ってクッションを手渡してくれる。細かいことだがこういうところが大事。ありがちな押しつけられるかのようなサービスとは違う。
カウンターの奥行きは30センチもない。でも、お手ふき代わりのウェットティッシュが置いてあったり、目の前には料理の説明が書かれていたり、ポップが貼られていたりする。
なんかこういうお店を訪れると、あれができない、これができないと言い訳ばかりで何もしない奴らが本当に情けなく思える。
考え方を変えれば知恵と工夫でどうにでもなるものだ。
また、来ている客もバラエティ豊かで、この日のお隣さんは「世田谷飲食店組合」の会長さんだった。
祭りのこと、御輿のこと、後継者問題などいろいろお話を聞かせて頂いた。70歳手前には見えないほどパワフル。
三茶の祭りも仕切っておりそこの会長職も兼任されているという。後継者についてお聞きしたところいろいろと条件が細かくあるという。
まずは三茶で生まれ育っていること、幼い時から御輿に参加していること、人望があること、そして自営業が好ましい、という。結局こういう地域のイベントでは何かしら協力を得なければならず、やはり日頃の付き合いがどうしても重要なのだ。また、いつでも自分が動ける体制じゃないと何かと不便が多い。確かにサラリーマンにはできない。人間としての品格や立場も当然大事だから会社勤めして上司に頭下げているようなタイプだとやはりイメージとは違う。実際お話させて頂いて、ほとんど冗談やら下ネタみたいな話をしているおじさんだったが、こと地元の話になるとビシッとした目つきに変わるのが印象的だった。やはりその責任の重さというのは常に意識されていることが感じられた。
そんなその辺のコジャレタ飲み屋では聞けないような話を聞けるのがこういう店の良さだ。
ちなみにつまみは串焼きやお好み焼き以外にもちょっとした小皿料理がある。値段は200～300円くらいがボリュームゾーンと言ったところ。一人でビールと一緒にちびちびやるなら十分だ。
ビールは瓶ビールしかなく、あとはハイボールや焼酎の類がそれなりにある程度。この値段と場所なら文句はない。
ただ、この店の弱点は座っている場所の後方2mくらいの場所が国道246号線という都内でも有数の幹線道路のためガンガン車が走っているのでうるさい。
まぁ、簾（すだれ）一枚だけで外界と遮断しているだけというほぼ「屋外」のような店なので仕方ない。
ただ、店内のティッシュペーパーの箱には；
と注意書きがされている。すごく真っ当な注意書きなんだがこの場所でそこを強調されるとついついツッコミたくなる。
わざわざ誰かに紹介するような店ではないし誘って行くほどの店ではない。何か特別旨いものが食えるわけでもない。
だからこっそり一人で行くのが楽しみ方として正しいと思う。
