よく聞く話で；
「○○ダイエットはリバウンドしやすい」
とか、
「××さんのダイエットはきっとリバウンドするよねぇ。」
みたいな、いわゆる「リバウンドを気にする世論」がどんなダイエットにでもつきまとう。
そもそも世の中の風評なんて「その出来事が自分にとって都合の悪い人の意見が優先されて伝わる」という性質があり、他人の不幸を望む日本の悪しき慣習である。
お前に関係ないよな？
ということは往々にして多い。なので私も最近ではトンチンカンなこと言われても軽く流している（※ただし、聞くべき相手の話は真剣に聞く姿勢は崩さない）。
それで前述した「リバウンドを（大きなお世話の一環）心配する声」があるわけだが、だいたいこういうこと言っているのは「ダイエットしても絶対成功しない人たちの屁理屈」か「すでに失敗を繰り返している意思の弱い人」が多い。
こういうときは「聞かない」のではなく「聞き流す」のがスマート。
重要なのは「やったらできた♪」という成功体験であって、この経験がある限りリバウンドしてもまた同じことをやるだけである。
この違いは大きい。
そもそもダイエットなんぞは「自分の意思でコントロールできる」のですよ。自分の意思でどうにかなるものでこれほど簡単なことはないんだし。
ただし、短期間とは言え「あの苦痛の日々」を考えるとダイエット後でも食生活には気を遣うようになる。なぜならダイエットに成功すると同時に「食事についての知識」が身に付いているから。
なので結果的にリバウンドしづらいという副産物もある。
まとめると；
・リバウンドしたところで一度成功しているので同じことをまたやるだけ。
・ただし、食事についての知識やダイエットの苦労が身に付いているからリバウンドしづらい。
ということになる。
ただ、私くらいのプロフェッショナルダイエッター（※造語）になるとこういうことを理解していてもリバウンドしてしまう。
・・・・。
そろそろリバウンドしつつあることへの言い訳である。
