ここ数日、朝のマクドナルドを活用している。
「朝」と言っても5時前後なので「超早朝」と言った方が適しているのかも。人によっては深夜かも。
こんな時間でも客が一人もいないということはなく誰かしら先客がいるものだ。東京というところはやはりそういうところなんだろう。
それでつぶさに周囲を観察していると概ね2タイプの人種がいることが分かる。
・自分の意思でいる人
・自分の意思ではないが流れ上いる人
まぁ、明らかに特殊な時間帯なのでこの辺の境目が明確なのかも知れない。
前者に関してはどういう職業の人なのか分からないが、こんな時間にノートPC開いてゴリゴリ作業している若い人や、電子辞書開いて英語の勉強しているおじさんなど、なんか「この朝の瞬間」を最大限に活用している人たちだ。不思議と年齢関係なし。
発するオーラが違うというか、集中し没頭しているのでそういう人の周囲の空気は澄んでいる。上手いこと言えないが澱みがないというのだろうか。「この瞬間やるべきこと」が明確なので動きに無駄がない。
一方、後者。
朝早い仕事でその前に食事をしに来ている感じの人たち。これも年齢関係なし。人それぞれ事情があったりするのだし、一概には言えないとは思うんだけどどうもこういう人たちは「不機嫌なオーラ」が出ている場合が多い。ここにいる目的も仕事までの時間合わせだったり、取りあえず「メシ」みたいな。要は発する空気が澱んでいるのである。
なんというか服装というか顔つきというか・・・、よくわからんのだけど。よく分からないので説明のしようがないのだけど「動きが雑な人」に多いというか。
具体的に言うと椅子を引く音が必要以上に大きかったり、一つ一つの動きが大きく、いちいち「音」を発する感じの人たちというべきか。
ただ、服装とか身なりとか、身につけているものが高いとか安いとか、顔が良いとか悪いとか、そういう問題ではないとは思う。動き方というか、立ち振る舞いみたいな。
意外と人というのはこういうところに敏感で、「見ている」というよりは「感じている」部分だと思う。
感じるものなので周囲の人も意識はしていないだろうが「なんか不快」という無意識下の感情は蓄積される。結局それはその場限りのことではなく、日々全身から醸し出される「何か」なので巡り巡って本人の損になる。損になっているが本人は気付いていないので結局報われない自分を卑下してしまう。そんな悪循環。
これは自分自身も気をつけないとなぁ、と。
