話題の加圧トレーニングに関して、ごくまれに飲み会などで話題になるので私の見解を書いてみる。別にたいそうな話じゃない。
最近やたらとブームで、都内にたくさんジムができている。なんとなく「流行りすぎ」な気もする。
流行りすぎるとあとは「腐るだけ」というのが世の習いな気もしなくもないが、いずれにせよ個人経営のジムでは「加圧トレーニングバブル」みたいな状況も生まれているようでこぞって参入している。後は大手の出方だが恐らく近い将来価格競争が始まりそうな気もする。
それで個人的には否定しておらず、むしろ自分でも一度は試してみたいと思っている。軽負荷で行うので怪我の心配が少ないという点は良い（だったらスロートレーニングでも良いという説もあるが）。
ただ、ネックなのが「費用」である。
「高い」だろ？パーソナルトレーナーが付いたり、特殊（？）な知識が必要だったりするので仕方ないと言えば仕方ない。また、けっこうな額のライセンス料が発生しているからというのもあるだろう。
既存のトレーニングの代替物として考えると割高に感じてしまう。
あくまで個人の価値観なので否定はしないけど、特に筋トレビギナーは「他にやるべきこと」があると思うよ。ある程度のレベルの人がメニューの一つとして加圧トレーニングを採用するのは分かる。でも、いきなりこれをスタート地点にする必然性ってさほどないように思う。
割高な費用を支払い続けることができるのならばそれもいいだろうが、トレーニングは「継続させるもの」なので加圧トレーニングだと間違いなく続く訳でもなく、絶対効果が出るというものでも無いと思う。また、月々の固定費を上げない意識も大事。継続させる上で定期的に発生するコストというのは心理的にも影響する。
ならば「加圧トレーニング」を始める前に、ちょっと努力して基本的なトレーニングをマスターしたり、ウェアやシューズを（派手目でおしゃれな感じの）買いそろえたり、お金と時間を使うべき部分は他にもある。
特に基礎知識がないままいきなりトレーニングしても続かないというのは加圧トレーニングでも同じ。
なのでこの辺をもう一度考えてみてやってみるのが良いと思う。
私の場合は今のところ（自腹で）やる予定無し。
